Business Units
The internationally operating DERAG Group (Deutsche Realbesitz Aktiengesellschaft), headquartered in Munich, consolidates a variety of business areas under its brand. Originally founded in 1951 as a property developer and real estate company, the group now comprises the divisions Project Development, Real Estate, Hotels & Apartments, Media, Food & Beverage and Site Development (Fairview Orchards). DERAG currently employs a total of around 700 people.
Real Estate Development
Since its foundation in 1951, DERAG Projektentwicklung has realized more than 85,000 residential and commercial real estate units. The division manages the entire development process from the concept idea to turnkey realization and creates cross-generational value through entrepreneurial visions.
Real Estate Management
The DERAG Real Estate division manages DERAG Group's portfolio properties as an independent business unit in Germany and Austria. Being a digital pioneer, it implements state-of-the-art solutions in the areas of building connectivity, predictive maintenance and customer relationship management.
Hotels and Apartments
Living Hotels is pioneer in the apartment hotel market in German-speaking countries. The business area was founded in 1982, and extended through the launch of the SOULMADE brand in 2016. Today, the chain includes 18 hotels at 9 locations.
Media
In 2024, the DERAG Group's portfolio was expanded with the acquisition of the regional TV stations münchen.tv and tv.ingolstadt. The stations produce high-quality reports, news and entertainment formats and have a broad regional reach.
Gastronomy
DERAG has been active in the gastronomy sector since 2023 with the St.Ribs restaurant chain. The concept focuses on creative interpretations of spare ribs. Locations are currently operated in Munich and Bonn, with more in the realization phase.

With 5700 acres in a prime strategic location near Washington, D.C., Fairview Orchards Landbesitz, Inc. offers ideal conditions for industry, logistics, and the established hunting, timber, and agricultural sectors—boasting vast acreage and direct access to Interstate 68.
